CoD4 Asset Manager - Weapon Modding Tutorial

This is a narrated tutorial on how to make weapon mods for CoD4 using the Asset Manager available in the mod tools. If you have any trouble, make a comment and I'll try and help you out.

Basic Steps:
1 - Create Your Mod Folder
2 - Backup Your GDT Files
3 - Open up your weaponsettings_mp.gdt file, mod it and save it in the source_data directory.
4 - Convert All Assets in the Asset Manager.
5 - Copy the weapon files to your mod folder, and place them in your weapons/mp folder.
6 - Build your mod.
7 - Test. Play.

My weapon isnt modded when i go into notepad.Its the normal weapon settings. Please help

@aarontg777 Make sure the gdt files you made over write the ones in your CoD4 directory. Listen closely at 0:43

hey thanks! i did what you said, and made 4 custom guns for my server. do you know how to make it so that the people who enter can only pick those 4 guns? like make it so that only 4 premade ''custom class'' appear when they goto choose a gun?
