The Alliance for Climate Protection and Current TV challenged viewers to make provocative ecospots: short video messages to drive friends, community, and government to get involved in solving the climate crisis. The grand prize winner of the ":60 Seconds to Save the Earth" Ecospot Contest was Dave Schlafman for his video entitled Sky is Falling.

WOW, scare monger as much as you want but current CO2 levels are 0.03 percent of the atmosphere. Furthermore, CO2 makes up less than 4 percent of all greenhouse gasses, and of the yearly CO2 less than 5 percent is from man made emissions. The earth is not currently warming and CO2 has never driven climate change in the past. It is a fraud.

u r such an idiot he was joking when he said connect a tube from ur car to ur plants ok. Plus right now we have more CO2 than plants can absorb. It's like a huge multipling pile of pizzas that 10 humans have to eat. are u going ot say its not a problem because its human food. the rate of conversion is obiously not high enough or this wouldnt be a problem.

Oh, where do I begin with you? First of all the exhaust from your car is NOT CO2. It is a combination of gasses, but mainly carbon monoxide which is CO, not CO2. Second, plants don't get dizzy or unconsious. Third, plants breath CO2, but humans breath oxygen. High concentrations of CO2 reduce the available oxygen which is what causes the dizzyness in humans.

No kidding. Al Gore always seems to leave that out. CO2 is NOT pollution. It is essential to life on this planet. It is what plants breath.

OK- Carbon Dioxide is a PLANT FOOD? Then put a metal tube from your car exhaust & run it into your house with plants! No? I didn't think so.

Carbon dioxide is used by plants during photosynthesis to make sugars. BUT- CO2 in concentrations of 7% to 10% cause dizziness, headache, visual and hearing dysfunction, and unconsciousness within a few minutes to an hour. Burning Oxygen for energy, polluting the oceans & lakes, destroying fisheries & wetlands, burning the rain forests=LESS Oxygen=DEATH

Wether you believe in caveman technology for burning crap to make energy or fusion that is so deadly in 30 years it has to be removed & stored where it can never touch water or wind, the problem is- Asthma and breathing problems are pandemic. We have to STOP BURNING OXYGEN faster than we replace it.

We went to the moon with vacume tubes & left 3 solar dune buggies there. We have 2 WORKING rovers on Mars after 3+ years.

My 16 acres of hardwoods have eaten a few of these elephants. Not to mention the plankton in my 2 acre pond. After the oceans get done with the CO2 we'll need to put the elephants on the endangered species list for sure.
