One of the greatest tunes.. It was released in 1964 in their album ''It's Monster Surfing Time''. Another great tune in this album is the cover of Duane Eddy's ''Rebel Rouser''
When I need a serious laugh, I cue up this video. Damned funny. I love to watch the monster emerge from the water with the voice saying: "Oooooh, that water's cold!" If you don't laugh, there's something wrong with ya. I like to see the monster knock off Tony Carbone (who resembles a Bogart-gone-bad character in this turkey of a flick).
A cactus-headed/ping-pong-balled-eyed monster. Only from the minds of Roger and Gene Corman! The lead guitarist for Thee Cormans wears a head-piece just like the Creature From the Haunted Sea. Isn't nice to know that this flick still exerts some influence on 21st century culture? There's hope for humanity yet!
Thank you, Roger and Gene Corman! American cinematic schlock at it's very worst (or best)! I remember seeing this goofy B-movie a long time ago. It's great that someone has finally put some great sound to it! The Cramps rule!
0:14 KATE MULGREW is on the Monster's Menu!!!! Ok, maybe not, but it looks like her.
