ahh not to burst your bubble but a higher iso setting creates more noise in ur photo decreasing its quality to get a better shot put ur iso speed to around 100 and ur shutter speed to around 1/125
i noticed ur shutter speed was 1/500 that was probly y ur shots were dark

is this all cameras or just your olympus?

@verbod Let me guess, you suggest the camera you have, right? We all have thousands and thousands of dollars to spend on "real" cameras and equipment. Get over yourself. Some people just like photography as a hobby and can do just fine with these types of cameras.

and lame Olympus E-510, avoid Olympus and all 4/3 cameras
-
sell your toy and get yourself a real camera

really cute!what a beauty!
Hi Manda. You said,
"All the pictures I were taking..."
Don't you mean,
"All the pictures I was taking..."
or,
"All the pictures I took..."?
BTW, this comment isn't a knock, it's a genuine response to the line 'so teach me something..' in your profile. ;o)
English - the most beautiful language in the world, and the most abused.

haha thanks... no offense taken I know my english is less than perfect in a lot of these videos... my english is by no means the crowning jewel of my existence and I'm sorry if my abuse of the english language has offended you in any way.. keep it coming with the constructive criticism!

hey manda what you adjusted was the exposure value(EV) and not the apperture size(F stop).

haha ya i got a little off track with this video but ya thats what i should have said

Manda... that value... F is the aperture which is very useful, not only to change exposure, but above all you can "change" your DoF (Depth of Field)... This way you can tune the Bokeh effect, which means out of focus on the background... Try to zoom "T" at maximum... then turn F to lower value (for example 5.6 or lower), you'll get out of focus background much more then if you shot at f/22 (that's just an example)...
