  • Holy moly......great.

  • @ianscott111 Thanks! I played the first sonata and the second concerto but I just have audio recordings, not video. I really like to play them, but I think it's easier to play this transcription, since there is an actual orchestra recording I can compare myself with.

  • @Querculus Cool! I guess I'm right down the road from Indiana - I'm currently pursuing my DMA at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Just wondering if you've every played either of the Brhams concertos or sonatas? Those pieces are so orchestra, I think you could do a great job with those!

  • @Querculus Haha thanks! But I've gotten through that part now.. xD Im now at 2:35 (I'm not slow I just had a long period where i didnt work on it xD) and i'm doin fine with it. But I'll tell you if I have any troubles. Thanks and really really good job!

  • @ianscott111 Thank you, I studied at Indiana University. It's always a good idea to play an orchestra transcription, you learn so much about the different sounds/registers/timbres of the orchestra... I recommend you listen to many orchestra performances to get a feel of how you should sound. I find Karajan especially inspiring :)

  • Bravo! Where is this? Where did you study? I'm thinking about playing my first Beethoven/Liszt transcription - your performance is seriously making me think about playing this piece!
