Solo with New York City- Times Square

Solo with NY(City)7 is a short film of contemporary dance in seven sections, which reflects, embodies and subverts the dynamic interaction between an individual's movement and her environment. The basic idea behind the work emerged from my love for New York City. It's a dancer's declaration of love for New York and the different spaces within its domain that influenced my movement. Specifically, Solo with NY(City)7 explores 7 places that are uniquely NY. These include: 1) the View from my Balcony, 2) the Upper East Side 3) Central Park 4) Times Square, 5) the NY Subway, 6) Wall Street Bull and 7) the View from Long Island. Each section of the film can be viewed, individually, they can be viewed all one after the other or the viewer can just choose the locations that interest them.

very well placed in the space of city life would love to see 2 other possible woman in same area but contrasting in content and intention bi polar? lost and searching for non existing comfort a trilogy of same inverted or changed by circumstance and or choice

Wow! This is absolutely excellent at every level. The film crew also captured the beauty and the movement of Nejla Yatkin very well. Simply a wonderful production. You won't see this on American Idol!
