  • These guys were legends. Not playing any more unfortunately. To me they were the real deal, great arvo gigs.

  • Great, Rooster - the music still sounds good after all this time. A bit hard to see much, though; got any with better light?

  • Hi Mate

The Rainbow wasn't a great one for lighting!!!

However I do have some stuff they did with Kenny Brown (RL Burnside guitarist) also some stuff with Chris Wilson. I have lots of videos to out up so I will get around to it at some stage.

    Cheers

  • Nice one Rooster - takes me back to the late 70s - mid 80s when we used to go every friday to a blues pub here in Brixton (London) and then on Sat to another one across the road from it .... And they wonder why no-one goes to pubs anymore !!!

  • I can remember my darling girl and I walking from St. Kilda to the Albion to catch them during one of our sojourns to Melbourne in the late eighties or early nineties.

We had a habit of doing things like that back then if we weren't in a hurry to get somewhere.

I acn still remember Ken finding her a seat as we came in the door and he spotted us.

  • everyone seems to play this tune makes it all the more beter!

  • Really excellent ! Thanks for sharing !

  • ahhh, the familiar drumming of Ken Farmer.
