ATMega8 driving two 7segment LEDs using time division multiplexing. Each 7seg is lit for a short duration of time and the other is lit again. This is done a great pace so they both virtually appear to be lit at the same time to the human eye. The multiplexing is done using the TIMER0 interrupt on ATMega8.
