For the very first time in North America, Mylecharane's March, a Manx stick dance, was performed by Sometimes Y Morris, at dawn, on Mayday, in Shutesbury, Massachusetts. This was the very first time that this teen Morris group danced out and this was the very first dance that they did. Manx dancing has come to America and the crowd went wild!
Could you tell me more about the symbolism. I saw a traditional dance in Bath in 2006 May 1st. (See my video if yoy like). It certainly triggered my curiosity.
