I thought he beat Benitez also. A class act in and out of the ring. Even in this fight that he lost to a prime Duran....you can see that he knew his craft! Duran, when motivated and in shape, was in a class by himself.

Just talked to Palomino and told him about his fights with Duran and Benitez. Said he felt he beat Benitez who refused to give him a rematch. It was a split decision with Wilfred but he clearly lost this one to Roberto.

2 dream matches: Pacquiao v Duran and Mayweather v Leonard. Imagine fellow boxing nuts. And for British fans, Benn v Hagler, although USA would win that one I reckon

Palomino was a world champ who defended his title several times and only lost it by a narrow decision to Benitez. Nobody ever beat Palomino up. despite that he looks like he is intimidated by Duran the supposedly naturally smaller man.

Carlos from what I've seen and heard is a bad ass with a heart. He seems to be the guy that wouldn't let a bully get away with hurting some one. He fought the best and beat the best but a gentleman in a cruel sport. Not afraid to get hurt or put a hurt on some one. Still he'd never lift a finger to hurt a person outside the sport. Good man from every thing I've seen.
