"TAINTED" Teaser

Canadian Blood Services's slogan is "Blood, it's in you to give." But for a number of healthy Canadian citizens, their blood is seen as tainted by CBS, and they are banned from donating it.

On the blood donor screening form, male participants are asked "Have you had sex with a man, even one time, since 1977?" Anyone who answers 'yes' to this question is blacklisted and permanently banned from donating blood.

Written and directed by Ben Brommell, 'Tainted' is a documentary that explores the Canadian Blood Services's 'gay blood ban' through interviews with Kyle Freeman, Jane Greer, and Douglas Elliott and questions the legitimacy of the ban in today's society.

'Tainted' is coming soon, and will be complete in December 2011.
