UN.GIFT Emma Thompson Human Trafficking PSA

This Public Service Announcement shows the Oscar-winning British actress, Emma Thompson, mouthing the words of real-life human trafficking victims -- male and female; sex slaves, forced labourers, and children press-ganged into carrying guns.

The PSA was produced by Linx Productions on behalf of the UN-led Global Initiative Against Human Trafficking -- www.ungift.org. The video is airing on leading international TV news channels, including CNN, Al Jazeera, and Deutsche Welle.

UN.GIFT was launched in March 2007 by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) with a grant made on behalf of the United Arab Emirates. It is managed in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO); the International Organization for Migration (IOM); the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF); the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR); the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Emma Thompson is in ardent campaigner against human trafficking -- especially sex slavery.

before slapping IOM onthe back check them out a bit emma,do you know that these people can do exactly what they like to these people?and answer no complaints about some of their staffs behaviour? Ive personally heard IOM staff refer to refugees as dirty,low people-as they sit in a 5star office criticizing people who have just lost evrything. please be wary of any organization that replies to 0% of external complaints before you endorse them with your good name emma

Emma's terrific! I however must admit that it is somewhat funny to her hear mouth the low, male voice, when being aware that she's got such a lovely feminine tone.
