Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - 1996 World Figure Skating Championships, Ladies' Short Program - Chen Lu of China skated a wonderfully elegant program to place 2nd going into the Long Program. She skated to "Spring Breeze" from the album, "Chinese Melodies for Violin & Guitar," by Takako Nishizaki (Violin) and Gerard Garcia (Guitar).

  • Beautiful! And for those who say the US is biased, notice that EVERY judge gave Kwan first place ordinals in the short, except for the US judge, who gave it to Chen. Can you imagine any other country doing that to their skater?
