Radio 2UE newsreader vomit

2UE newsreader Jessica Vanderende (believed to have had a little bit too much of a good time on Friday night) experienced a nasty mishap on Saturday morning. During her pre-recorded FM feed she brought up her dinner. After putting in a valiant effort to get through the rest of the bulletin, she forgot to mention the disaster to her colleague, who minutes later jumped into the booth to read the main bulletin. The poor bloke was forced to read with vomit still sitting on the prompter and keyboard.

Yes, this is funny to an extent but you can't help feeling sorry for the poor girl. If it wasn't a "live" broadcast and there was at least one other person in the room with her, eg: manager or technician, why didn't they just forget the "recorded" broadcast "due to technical difficulties" and leave it to the main announcer for the bulletin! Of course, I guess it could've happened suddenly but still Jessica shoud've/would've known that she wasn't feeling well.
