  • Just to ID the tunes Ken and I are playing, the first tune is "Billy in the Low Land" and the second is "High Yellow." I learned both from Henry Reed of Glen Lyn, VA, in the 1960s (see the Henry Reed website that is part of the Library of Congress website). - Alan Jabbour 8-24-08

  • Although Henry lived in Giles County he's actually from Lidside, WV (Monroe County) that's my understanding.
