The song is called "The Rose" but if you are looking for this piano version, the composer is Christopher Peacock. The version you recognize by bette midler is not the same and is a re-made from the original piano version. hope this helps for all who asked.

Hi all, I love somebody so deeply. He is also so. But our love is an unspoken one because we both have very good family lives we dearly hold and never want to disrupt and bring tears or disgrace to any body we love. So each day we hide our love in few glances & go off. we have never exchanged anything except these glances and do not intend ti do so also.He is 8 years younger to me.Despite every thing the affection between us goes on , unspoken & hidden to the world. It is a pain, though.

I agree with you mcrath900, a truly beautiful piece tho I'm sad to admit that this song now reminds me of the girl I love as my nights have now become so lonely with her leaving me for her ex despite all we've been through with all of the romantic things I showed her that she thought only existed in movies, despite it all she chose her ex with the widley known fact that he will only bring her misery... never thought that life could seem so lonely that it would make living seem like a curse...

To beautiful :'(. It reminds me of the girl i have liked for 5 years and i still like her.. I went to the stage to ask her out, But her friend told me off for liking her and writting a letter telling her how i feel. She didnt read it. Her friend did and they all laughed... I still like her.
