This is part 1 of a very candid interview with Keith Morris about why he exited The Circle Jerks to form his new band OFF!....Wiki Keith Morris (born September 18, 1955) is an American singer and songwriter. Active since 1976, Morris is best known for being the frontman of the influential hardcore punk bands Black Flag and The Circle Jerks. In late 2009, Keith helped form the hardcore punk band OFF!, which has garnered comparisons to his early days in Black Flag.

I just heard keith's newer stuff w/ OFF!
I like it ok, but it's not the Circle Jerks...
the Circle Jerks were just awesome, probably my favorite punk/hardcore band.
Good, talented musicians, all of them, proving you don't have to have poor musicianship to be punk
Keith did an upgrade when he left Black Flag and formed the Circle Jerks...
WAY better sounding to me.

Talk all the shit you want about Keith but his new band OFF! is the best I've seen since the 80's Punk scene. I've been to Circle Jerks shows and now every NYC OFF! show and OFF! has better energy.
