This is a video of my Amazing Grace aka "Grace". The horse that actually introduced me into Natural Horsemanship and I am so thankful that she did. Everybody thought this horse was crazy (including me) before Parelli it would take me at least 2 hours to "catch" her in the pasture......and by that time I was already frusterated. It wasn't enjoyable to ride her.....I would always have blisters on every finger on my hands from holding onto the reins. She when to a trainer, western, and english and they both kinda said she was a crazy dangerous horse. And just when I thought about giving up on the whole horse dream I ended up finding a clip of the Parelli program on the television. How interesing?? And come to find out it was me with the problem. Never in a million years did I think I would be able to ride her bridless in an open pasture......but never say never I guess.

Grace is such a sweetie always trying to please me and even if she doesn't know the answer she does five different things at once hoping that one of them would be the right answer. Curiousity was her hardest thing.....she was an expert of avoiding, ignoring and freaking out. She has taught me more patience then I think that anybody could ever teach me in my lifetime.......I am still working through some major baggage with her, and it helps to have Diego who I can practice with (he is way more forgiving than Grace by a landslide!)

This is actually the first video footage I have of me playing with Grace EVER! And want is even more funny is that I've had her for about 7yrs (she's 8yrs now). Her favorite savvy is definatly freestyle!

Beautiful horse and video. I would love to be able to ride my mare like that.. but unfortunately I don't know enough about it to train her that way, or direct her while riding that way.
