Fabulous tip, thanks !! I have a sigma blush brush that I just now repaired using your blow dryer method....worked like a charm. No more clicking noises from the loose ferrule while applying my blush !!
I believe it won't last long this way. expecially if the glue has dried out and is years old. The best thing is to remove the old glue and reapply it with a glue gun. there are small inexpensive ones that just will do the trick.

@manuki16 I've used it on a brush I've had for about 5 years, it's been sturdy! I agree that if it doesn't work then try new glue! :)

my broken brush has plastic handle. is that means that I wont be able to fix it with your method?I tried superglue on the other brush but it was too much glue and some glue came out of metal part and the brush doesnt look nice now :(
