  • I have one of these to control my exterior house spotlights... I only have a ON tripper on my device... Don`t know why there`s no OFF tripper... (what did the previous house owner do with it?) Anyway... is it normal that you dont see the wheel/clock moving...? Theres no sound coming out from it when the switch below is on ON...

Greetings!!! Hi, Just buy a couple of sets of trip dogs at a good electrical supplyhouse. You can get the timer in order. Tighten it with a pliers lightly on both the On trip dog & the off trip dog. Don't go animal on it light firm. Remember the ON TD at the earlier time & the Off TD at the later time. As the clock turns.

     Then your good.

    hi ,

Maybe there is no power to the timer. Maybe someone flipped a switch & now the timer doesn't have power.

  • Thanks for sharing!

I'm looking to install the trippers which my doesn't have installed, do you know how I do it? I saw in your video they are just screwed on the clock dial? They will turn the manual switch on and off, or it gonna turn something else behind the clock dial?

    Thank you!

You have to unscrew the trip dog until it will slip on the dial. Then hand tighten it and slightly tighten with a pliers. Don't go animal on it.

Home Depot in my area doesn't carry the trip dogs but an Electrical Supply house should.

The On Trip Dog should go on the earlier time and the off at the later time.
