Second it is well known that the drug war is like prohibition, it costs too much, it causes illegal activities and violence, and finally it isnt morally right for the govt to tell someone what they can or cant do with their own bodies. The Romans, Persians, and British believed in exceptionalism too. Turns out they werent so special. History points out that no nation is EVER above the laws of nature. Piss enough people off and spend too much money doing it, and you will collapse. Ron Paul one of the few sane people in congress, that is why so many people think he is crazy. Most people are fucking idiots and should feel guilt for causing this nation's collapse, yet their arrogance and pride has no room for guilt.
