Once called the greatest bluesman in the world by Eric Clapton, Belfast's Rab McCullough is known worldwide for fusing the roots of American blues with a Celtic flare all his own. He's shared stages with Jimi Hendrix, John Mayall and The Small Faces - and has fascinating stories to tell about all of them!
While artists like Van Morrison, Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher left Ireland during the turbulent 60's & 70's, Rab remained to protect his family through the darkest of times. This man doesn't only play the blues - he's lived it. Here he is at the Keltic House in Fishkill, NY performing this very personal tune.
(Interesting bit of trivia - You'd never now it, but he'd never played with this band before, and they'd never played this song before!)
