@whsportman94 Because NO '80s hair metal band ever made a serious album! Steel Panther just goes where they didn't and says what they really wanted to say 20+ years ago. Hair Metal was never serious music to begin with, which is why it is so easy for them to parody. Steel Panther is the modern equivalent of Spinal Tap!
