  • If you "YouTube" Search now, "d" "y" "s" now leads to:

"Dysautonomia", "Dysautonomiamd" and "Dysautonomia POTS"...if you keep typing, you also get familial dysautonomia. The computer must be keeping track! Our numbers are growing and/or something NEW has happened! Am I the only one who noticed? I just noticed it today. LOL to all, Dr M

  • Basically, you make your eyes travel so that you are going up and down, then left and right.

Yes, it is as if you are making a crucifix, or the sign of the cross. Coincidence? You be the judge.

God is in your life and He is showing Himself to you daily.

  • ginger doesn't seem to help my nausea at all. These kinds of exercises do help. I don't think the nausea is coming from my stomach but maybe my brain? I had an ultrasound today to start looking at my gallbladder as a possible cause but I fear that is not going to be a clue. The best thing I was able to do was move from my bed to my recliner. Laying flat for too long makes things worse. I can lay flat in my recliner so if I really need to I can do it for as long as I really need .

  • I hate to have people think of making themselves sick so that they can get better over time....I'm so glad to get feedback on these exercises so others can see that perhaps it could work on them, too.

  • Start with eyes focused on one spot.

Slowly move eyes up; keep head still.

Slowly move eyes back to the middle; then move eyes down.

Slowly focus back on the same spot.

Then go slowly to the left, and then to the right. always returning to your center spot. This 'spot' could be someone's nose. You can then look to the top of the head, the throat, the nose; then to the left, then to the right.

I did not invent this. I have to look up the inventor of this famous exercise and get it to you later...

  • Have you tried Ginger capsules for the nausea? I took one tonight and it really helped. I had forgotten all about Ginger.
