9-40-160:Every driver of a vehicle shall exercise due care to avoid colliding with any pedestrian, or any person operating a bicycle or other device propelled by human or animal power, upon any roadway, and shall give warning by sounding the horn when necessary and shall exercise proper precautions upon observing any child or any confused or incapacitated person upon a roadway...like i said, completely legal. they do it to make a scene and to be SEEN.

@SharkattackFanella no one has the right to block traffic anf blow traffic signals. The "police escort" is more of a "hey lets get these idiot assholes off the street as quick as possible" .

@BestTits I believe that the law would state "Pedestrians have the right of way". Entirely legal and commonly have POLICE ESCORT.

Critical mass is illegal all who participate should be arrested for mob action, along with getting multiple traffic tickets.

These people are such hypocrites. They block off traffic and abuse cars while they are supposedly protesting peacefully. No wonder drivers in cities have grown to hate cyclists. Yes, for a night, because of shear mass you are bigger. How about the other 29 days. I think a 3000lb vehicle with a driver who would like to see you scared or hurt for those other days is not worth it.
If they where really protesting peacefully then they would prepare with officials and have a route blocked off.

I ride too, but I agree with best tits btw, it's one thing to "share the road", but a whole other thing to be road nazi's. I can understand the event to rise awareness, about bicyclists, but I think a lot in the critical mass movement though that don't want to "share" the road, they think they own it, and do ride like retards w/o helmets to boot. At least when I road, I road at 30+ mph, and went with the flow of traffic, not blocked it.
