This is my 08 6.4L Powerstroke on David Dunbar's dyno at the Smokin' 09 event in White Plains, GA. This is the first run of three. The truck made 560 horespower and 1110 foot lbs on this run. This is with a tune, delete pipe, intake, EGR block off plates, and a Suncoast direct solenoid. No fuel system upgrades or turbo upgrades.

  • Hey man I have a 2008, F350 w/6.4. I keep having trouble outbid EGR coolers. How can I eliminate the problem?

  • Deleting them off of the truck is about the only way to take care of EGR cooler problems. Dirty Diesel Customs has an EGR cooler delete kit for like $400

  • Hey Nice truck. I saw that you had the egr block off plates are thye difficult to install and is that all you have to do is put the block off plates on and turn the egr off with your programmer.

  • @76f250fe, I actually don't run them anymore because they increase drive pressure a bit with the higher tunes. Install is pretty easy, it is just time consuming. You have to have either a tuner than shuts off the EGR, or tunes written for it to be code free.

  • Your welcome man!

  • alright well thanks for info, I haven't kept up on the 08's and up and was curious, tryin to figure which truck I intend on getting, but I appreciate it...

  • Check out Cobb's Diesel Performance. We offer package deals that range from tuner and delete pipes, to tuner, fulle exhaust, and cold air intakes.

  • oh I see, do the aftermarket mods come in a package u can purchase or is it all components you have to figure on your own?

  • The 310 tune is horsepower. That was a beta file during the testing period. I ran a 12.96 @ 102.2 with the production file. Horsepower calculater says 584 horsepower which comes out to about 310-315 extra horsepower over stock

  • what's the 310 stand for? a specific type of spartan package, or just the gain in hp and/or torque?
