@forsey2008 This is my take on it, feel free to disagree lol - his boost on the master at 100hz with the Pultec is totally irrelevant to those frequencies he is cutting out of his percussion loops.
If he leaves in those low frequencies to begin with on all his percussion channels it would sound horrifically muddy. I must say, one of the most brilliant things I appreciate from watching the three Thomas Gold vids is how to EQ properly.

Because there going down and I dont need all those low frequencies from the loops and the percussion. Sometimes I need them for the warmth but for me this works very well."

Low cut O.C.D Thomas lol, why you boosting with the lows at 100hz with the Pulteq EQ, after all that low-cutting though? come on 3 -48Db lo cuts on the claps man, haha
