Miss these guys like crazy!!!
You can keep that stuff that passes for country music these days; I'll take this and be glad.

Laura, I had the pleasure to have worked with these folks many, many times years ago while a country dj in a major market. The best of the best. More importantly, you would have to go far more than a country mile to find any nicer people. Loved them!!!

My three year old is just FASCINATED by watching your family play banjo...he loves old timey music..and I play it for him. I am hoping to start him on music lessons this summer.
Thanks to yours for spreading the spirit of music...

The Stoneman family were amazing talents Pop, Scottie, Jimmie,Van, Ronnie, and Donna were the ones I had the pleasure to hear up close and personal as a young boy at my parents house in Northern Virgina I always look back and think how lucky I was to listen to such an amazing family

@lemgretzorr Don't worry. There's a new generation and the Sleepy Man Banjo Boys are out there leading the pack!

IS THERE any young in's out there that could carry this type of virtuosity, the WORLD needs you, this as many genres are is a dying. THE WORLD MOVES TOO FAST; banjo players play fast we should not be living so quickley thats why there are awesome banjo or mandolin artists!
