I think you guys are missing that there are many dying because of AIDS, suffering from HIV, and the fact that without action the disease can SPREAD!
Sure economy is important but having a healthy work force and ensuring the wellness of American citizens is an equally, if not a more, important goal.

We can't afford to fund AIDS research right now and we shouldn't
we should focus on more important matters like oh i don't know how about FIXING THE DAMN ECONOMY so we can go back to work or like GETTING AMERICA BACK INTO MAKING THEIR OWN STUFF AGAIN or if we even want to fund some kind of health research lets try CANCER a dieses that doesn't discriminate
