On The Porch
Lyrics by. Bun Onoe and Riyu Music by. Riyu
Wind is blowing from the old electric fan
I take a sip of a Calpis drink
Resting my elbow on top of a texbook
A long Vacation in the country-side
My little sister is in the next room
She's shouting something, clapping her hands
Maybe somebody has hit a homerun,
Or maybe it could be a second-base run
On the porch of my house
As I lay on the tatami
Suddenly, a dragonfly failed to hunt a bug,
and flew away
And then the ground of the garden sparkled in the sunlight
All the cells are holding one another
They are all happy to be
All the cells are holding one another
They are all happy to be
Today, I am alive
