Frankie Lymon - Little Bitty Pretty One (Original)

"Little Bitty Pretty One" was written and first recorded by Bobby Day in 1957. But that same year Thurston Harris covered it and took the song all the way to #6 on the pop charts. The song has been covered many times since and even the following year in 1958, Frankie Lymon, out on his own and split with The Teenagers recorded a version quite similar to Thurston's.

@TheDp321 Yes, it is a "cover' as my comments attached to each post explains whenever it is, but the word "original" is important in the context of what is being posted since it is the "original" version by that artist and not a re-recording of the song by that artist (and there are many of those posted to YouTube). Some covers are equally good and perhaps even better recordings than the original recording of the song.
