@StumpyJoeJr fantastic, I do like a good sour.

@StumpyJoeJr Looking forward to the Odins Tipple review! It's phenomenal. Wild yeast imp. stout, yummy ! Not a lot of carbonation on that one either, we're in black oil territory here. It's probably as dark as a beer could possibly get. Oh, looks like I missed a ''d'' there. It should be ''Haandbic'' .

@mrgrimviking Definitely get a-hold of whatever you can from them. They are producing some quality beers.

A very challenging review, to try a fruit lambic where you do not know how the fruit tastes. jeeze though I mean lambic is the most carbonated beers in the beer world that is a major fault in this beer for sure.

so I googled crowberries, and they at least look like a blueberry grape hybrid, but I cannot speak for how they taste.

@StephenDickerman That kind of makes sense then based on what I was tasting. I think we'll start to see more sours with different types of fruit other than raspberry, peach, apple and cherry.

I like this one a lot. The sours they make are indeed light on the carbonation. I don't know if this is their goal. I know they have had quite the problem with over-carbonation in the past.
Haandbakk is probably the best brew I've had from them. Love it.
Also, be on the lookout for Haanbic. A strong sour ale brewed with red currents and Lingonberry. And if it's still out there somewhere, Nøgne Ø Tyttebær. Another strong sour brewed with Nordic Cranberries. In collaboration with Mikkeller.

@90norseman Ah, perhaps an overreaction then. I'd prefer a good amount of carbonation on this beer but it was still enjoyable.
I will definitely be on the lookout for Haanbic. That sounds fantastic. Same for that collaboration.

Sounds like a good one, a style I'm just learning to appreciate. My choices for sours are nonexistent locally, and limited within a reasonable driving range. Nice review.

@KeithsBeerReviews It's definitely an acquired taste. Thankfully the distribution here is great and we get a ton of imports.
