Reason is in the Bible? Claiming to be reasonable is one thing, being it is another thing all together.
Theism is not a reasonable position

There may be no better example of postmodern interpretation than making a connection between Alan Bloom and the word of God.

There's nothing wrong with reason. I agree with them that reason is very very important in our faith. But we have overemphasized reason and propositional truths in the church. Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life. The truth involves living it, FEELING it, knowing it, walking it. But all we care about at this point is the mind. Thinking it and reasoning it. That's all the church cares about nowadays.

Stick with theology and leave philosophy to philosophers.

Where did you get your info about postmodernism? I ask because I think you know nothing at all about postmodernism, or the writers that have contributed to what is called postmodernism. "Modernism" has probably done more to undue the belief and faith in god and his existence.
You should really stay in the realm of theology and leave philosophy to philosophers.
