The Lewis (Uig) Chessmen, a set of 12th century chess pieces carved from walrus tusk, were found on Uig Sands in 1831. The video shows a carved wooden chessman being placed, close to where the originals were found, to commemorate the event.

planning on writing a short story about the chess men, maybe I'll include a reincarnated sheep, lol
love the figures, they're magical.
