Actually, you have the right answer with the wrong reference. A Gulfstream or Lear has approved autopilot and still requires two pilots. That FAR applies to Barons, etc. that are single pilot aircraft but would otherwise require two pilots under for 135 operations.
There is a SFAR that allows pilots with minimum turbine time and additional training to fly the 550/560 single pilot for Part 91 operations only.
