Amiga had the best sounds imho

Actually it has a very poor soundchip (that's fact), the music comes directly from the CD.

From this video I think the Amiga version looks and sounds better, but there is a lot of slow-loading in the Amiga one. It was designed for the Amiga so you would expect it to be a bit better in terms of gfx. Not the best game but very atmospheric :)

The soundtrack looks different (sounds and mixing). This version is far better than the Amiga one.

@Ahle2 poor sound chip my ass...go listen to super star solider, solider blase, final soldier, air zonk, aero blasters and bonk 2.

I think this happy, candy colours ruins everything. It supposed to be dark, horror game not children's cartoon

@sunteam What I found was with the Amiga I just collected titles but never played them as they all didn't seem that great to play. The only time I played games was on the dedicated games consoles where games were games and played correctly also they loaded faster which helps. I'd rather watch crack intros and demos on the Amiga at the time.

@bazfanv2 The Amiga was the best computer of the day without a shadow of a doubt, whilst the Neo Geo and PC Engine were the best games consoles by far. The only let down with the original Neo Geo was the price of the games which were astronomical compared to other machine prices. I've had them all, my favourite Neo Geo title was Last Resort which only suffered from slow down but was amazing at the time.

@anunnaki2006 That's because both systems had powerful custom graphics, like the SNES. The actual processors were average. So terms such as 8bit and 16bit become far less meaningful.

Interesting, well I was never much of a fan of the series either, but graphically the PCE version seems to have lower resolution and the colours look slightly washed out and there seem to be less layers of parallaxing of the background on the DUO version. How ever the Beast sprite seems to be larger / beefier and better animated compared to the AMIGA version.
Good God, I never even knew that there was an PCEversion!
Looks interesting. How good is it compared to the epic Amiga version?
Is this actually on Hu-Card or for the CD Turbo Duo?

@alxxz It's on CD Rom. How good is it in comparison? Different people will tell you different things tbh. Personally I think the gameplay is slightly better than the Amiga version, but I don't consider either to be great games.
