This is why 'UK talent shows' i.e X Factor ,Britains Got Talent ,etc and all manufactured Boybands have no musical credibilty ,whilst the O'jays have a discograhphy with songs like this .Agree?

Pre MTV artists had to rely on talent and abilities to get and stay on. Post MTV performers (I use that term loosely) rely on promotion, image, and market saturation.
