@Fight0Tyranny NO Elvis was NOT a pedophile & he was NOT "grooming" Priscilla! First, that term only applies to prepubescent children. Plus Elvis did NOT have sex with Priscilla when she was 14. She shows more happening in this movie between them than her book when she was 14, but NOT sex. The book "Child Bride" is the only book that says they had sex in Germany & that is based on the word of Currie Grant who said Priscilla came to him & had sex with him to meet Elvis. She sued and won.

She says she kept telling him she loved him, but he never would say it, but instead would tell her he didn't know what he was feeling and it would take time. He did have Anita Wood waiting in Memphis he had given a promise ring, and she wouldn't leave Graceland until Aug 6. 62 when she overheard him trying to decide between them after Priscilla's first visit in summer of 62 in CA and Vegas--she had turned 17.

I know so little about Elvis and Priscilla and I'm only watching snatches of this movie here and there. I guess I'd have to at least watch the movie to come to any conclusion about their story. At any rate, wasn't Elvis a big-time philanderer? Not that I'm judging him, but wasn't that at least part of the reason she divorced him, not to mention the fact that he was becoming more and more unbalanced?
