@Zeemas the person who created the Final Fantasy game series directed this movie and sadly this movie was the biggest animated box office bomb in cinematic history, losing over 120 million dollars.

I have a question for die hard. what ever happened to the "fantasy" in Final Fantasy. I started liking the games and the movies are amazing but it isn't even Final Fantasy anymore, it's Final Sci-Fi.

@Zeemas That's because it has nothing to do with any of the Final Fantasy games, I agree they shouldnt have named it "Final Fantasy". They probably lured alot of ppl to watch it because It's named Final Fantasy tho :p It's a pretty good movie

all i thought of from this trailer was Doom 3, dead space and resident evil(sorta).. not a hint of any of the final fantasy games.. wth. im not saying the film is not good, is just that they should'nt have named it as final fantasy.

I've heard rumors that there were live actors used for the characters and then turned them into CG (like Avatar). Dayum, this is badass!
