Bower Bird - Coffs Harbour video and photos. I took this short video and photos of this bower bird playing around its bower nest. They love to collect blue straws and plastic that attracts their attention.
There was a black mate nearby but it didn't want to be in the picture. Maybe next time.

Unfortunately sights such as this are becoming a rarity around the town due to poor local cat and dog laws and pollution in the local creek areas all ruining the habitat from local wildlife. Its very frustrating to see this happening and the local council doing very little to combat this problem.
