Wow! Very impressive!! I was learning Japanese for a while, but had to put it on hold until I finish up with my degree.

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get to this level? And what was your general study routine?

I took two years in high school for fun, but I cheated and spent my senior year in Taiwan. I used to read an hour of Chinese on a different topic every day, and just be as social as possible with people I meet. Confucius said "of three men walking, one must be able to teach me something," or something along those lines.

I hate sitting down and studying so I would often sing KTV with my friends or visit a temple to chat with old people in Taiwanese.
