After the Quake: HKS Students Gain Insider Perspective of Chile's Disaster Recovery Efforts

At 3:34 a.m. on February 27, 2010, Chile was hit with an 8.8 magnitude earthquake, the world's sixth largest in recorded history. Tsunami damage spanned 600 kilometers. Two years later, Harvard Kennedy School students traveled to Chile to help rebuild three disaster-damaged communities as part of HKS Professor Doug Ahlers "Community Recovery" course. Here is their story.
