Greek entry in ESC 1986 | WAGON LIT - Polina

According to Polina's official website (www.polina.biz), this song had been selected to represent Greece in Eurovision Song Contest 1986. Nevertheless ERT decided to withdraw after they realised that the contest would take place on the Saturday before Easter (!?). It's said that the archbishop of the Greek Church Seraphim threatened the song and the singer with excommunication in the case of participation.
Greece was drawn 17th in the running order.
What's your opinion about the song? Could it have a good result in that contest?

I agree with you. It could easyly be in top 10. Polina is a multitalented artist, a good singer, dancer and actress as well. Unfortunately she spent her career mostly singing songs that didn't deserve to her artistic abilities.
