I saw these at The Coventry Hippodrome when i was about 8 years old.I laughed and laughed until i cried !This then led to a coughing fit.
If they were around today i would go and see them all over again

Of all the versions on YouTube, this is the most poorly directed. They should just point the cameras at the stage and let him perform, not put intrusive close-ups which miss the joke going on elsewhere on stage. Surprising for a show which tried to emulate the idea of visiting an old Music Hall.

I was lucky enough to work with denny & jonnie at Cromer Pier in summer season 1977 . great memories watching this after so many years.
Jonnie Mach,(Ithink its spelled right) was such a funny man of stage ,but always played the straight man to Dennys slapstick. Both are long gone.
the Funjuror.

I must have seen a cinema version on tv, when I was a boy: they were a lot younger, of course, and the rithm was incredible.
