The Dominican Republic is a polluted country because people do not dispose of waste properly which harms the environment and citizens. This video was made to educate people about pollution in the Dominican Republic and what the government as well as students from our school are doing to stop it.

  • Hi Rafto129,

No beach is ever abandoned, marine creatures live there, eat whats around etc then get sick and die or live sick lives, as it were. The trash washes up from other littering activities, sadly. The issue of plastic in the water is serious, get googling, "marine debris"

  • Especialmente los felicito por esa recogida anual, siendo del CM, ya nadie puede decirles hijitos de PApi y mami no se ensucian las manos, si todos los colegios publicos y privados hicieran lo mismo seria el mejor comienso

  • Thats an abandonned beach no body swims there

  • Hoyo del Chulin or in English = Little Gigolo's Hole

  • Great video! The trash here is one of the most disturbing things about this beautiful country. I agree that each person needs to be more respondsible for the trash but the government does as well by actually offering recycling and not dumping into the ocean.
