Comp-4: The ongoing resurrection and subsequent progression of the quad fin from a fun novelty to viable competition design has taken us to this... our most progressive quead design yet. Simply put, it's our "whiplash" thruster model (featuring all the design elements described there) slightly modified as a quad. Looking for a "quad that rides like a thruster" we have come to this. Developed with extensive testing via Shane Beschen and Mike and Mason Ho. It has a wider nose and just slightly wider tail at the 12" mark for carry and glide combined with a slight adjustment to the rail rocker. This has netted us a board that has won WCT heats and been ridden to an X Games MVP award for Chris Ward this year. Available in Rounded Pin and Straight swallow tail.

cause quads are still faster even if they have the same feeling, so more control + speed really works, makes surfing small dims easier.

i don't understand, if they are trying to make the quad ride and feel like a thruster, then why wouldn't u just get a thruster?
