Zoo at BELIZE CITY

After two days at the beach, we changed our excursion. We also had to use the tender to the Belize City.

We liked the Belize zoo. The kids enjoyed wrapping the snake around their necks and shoulders. The guide led us around the zoo, and on many occasions would call the animals to the group so we could take photos & video. She was familair and knew all the animals. She squeezed the ginger flower, let the birds saw it and flew in front of her. We spent time looking the birds, then we moved on. The most interesting were "the Black Howler Monkeys". They stayed up on the trees. We can see them climbing on the tree braches and making monkey noise.The noise were different from other monkey in the world. Another interesting animal was "Jaguar Tiger". The zoo director trained it from baby, and it would approach people when she called (as in the slidshow.)
