UP aerospace launched their SL-2 rocket on April 28, 2007. The rocket reached a maximum altitude of 73 miles.http://www.upaerospace.com

Wait, a second. Isn't 60+ miles already space? So isnt that rocket in space now?

It went up to 73 miles but it didn't have enough horizontal velocity to achieve orbit, so it came back down. They would need to make a bit bigger of a rocket and have it move on a curved path to make it to orbit.

Which UP aero launch is this? The first or second? Or are there others?
