An attempt to simplify an explanation of this technique guest staring Sally the Cat. I must note that I am ambidextrous and that this cast on lacks the rhythm of Cat Bordhi's. I just forgot and reinvented it. The end result is the same except that the stitches are twisted differently on the bottom needle but if you pay attention you should be able to work it out.
DISCLAIMER: I don't really explain this in a standard way. In fact my stitches end up oriented opposite of that, but technically it is a magic cast on. If you are not the sort that instinctively fixes that without thinking, which is how I think, it might confuse you. Note the ratio of dislikes to likes. 1 out of 4 people might not be right, but it could be you.
looks almost like hairpin lace.... now, what do you make from this?!
