Hialeah is the safest city in Florida with a population over 200,000. I firmly believe that the strength of our community is dependent on our ability to keep our streets safe. I've always said you don't have anything, unless you have safe streets.

We have been extremely aggressive in reorganizing the police department to best serve you. We have taken steps to allow our officers to prevent more crime, instead of just reacting to criminal activity. We have focused on more preventative crime fighting by increasing the number of undercover and specialized units patrolling our streets to further protect our citizens. -- Mayor Julio Robaina
